The wooden arch design is so clean that I’ve got it by the window, and it honestly looks like a little shrine for my cat. She’s been scratching it nonstop for a week and the post still holds up perfectly.
My cat completely ignores every other scratcher now, but the Torii's arched design seems to draw her in daily. It's sturdy enough that she can really lean into it without tipping, and it looks more like decor than cat furniture in my living room.
The curved top of the Torii is such a clever touch—my cat uses it as a chin rest mid-scratch, and it actually holds up to her daily abuse. I love how the gate design makes it look like a tiny piece of architecture instead of another cardboard eyesore in the living room.
