My cats fought over the middle perch for the first ten minutes after assembly, which tells you everything about how sturdy this thing is. The solid oak wood actually makes it feel like a piece of furniture rather than a typical flimsy cat tower, and it hasn't wobbled once during their zoomies.
I was a bit worried the oak would feel too heavy for our living room, but it actually warms up the whole corner beautifully. The cushions are firm enough that my cat actually uses the top perch instead of ignoring it like her last tower.
